PAINT CORRECTION
Time: 5 - 7 hours
A paint correction is the process of carefully removing minor scratches and imperfections found in the vehicle's clear coat. Using an electric polisher, a microfiber buffing pad, and a special cutting compound, we will be able to cut into the clear coat of a vehicle’s paint until the scratches are leveled or removed. By doing this, we bring back the natural shine, reflectiveness and vibrancy of your vehicle's paint making it look much newer.
Ceramic Coating
Time: 7 - 10 hours
Give your vehicle the ultimate protection against the outside elements with the our ceramic coating package. What is a ceramic coating? It is a long term exterior paint treatment that is applied in a liquid form and cures to form a hard layer on top of the vehicle's clear coat. A ceramic coating is typically composed of silicon dioxide (Si02) and when applied to a vehicle's paint, the two bond and create a chemical bond with extreme hydrophobic properties. Aka, a pretty extreme water repellent that when cured also reveals an extremely glossy shine.
What is the purpose of a ceramic coating? Protection!!! From harmful UV rays, dirt, grime, salt, road grease… you name it! In addition to its hydrophobic properties it will make follow up car washes easier as it will also shield the vehicle from all of these contaminants from bonding to the paint. You will find that the intense water beading and dirt run-off will be the best part, especially on rainy days and when drying your vehicle.
GLAMR GARAGE only uses the highest grade ceramics on the market and are applied carefully and professionally for the best finish and protection possible. A paint correction is needed here as we need to get the paint as perfect as possible before we apply the ceramic coating. Depending on the severity of the swirling or scratching, a 2-step or a 3-step correction will be required and is included in this package.
